Matthew 7:21 ESV
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Lord Hear my Prayer:
So that we may find the will of God and follow.
When I started this 193 days ago, my intentions were to reflect on one of the twelve verses and write about it. I am not a preacher or a priest. I am just a lost soul trying to find his way.
I would like to think that the ‘will’ is clear and easy to follow, but it is quite the opposite. The ‘will’ of man is sometimes interlaced and preached as the word of God. The principle that is undisputed is that God lives in all of us. God is the air in our lungs and God is visible through the beauty of others. I am not perfect, but I am a perfect example of fallen being. If I can learn to be love and forgive without condition, then I believe I am on the right path. And if anybody tells me to hate or to look down on others, then I know not to listen. I am no expert, but I do believe Love and Forgiveness transcends time and us.
