‘ You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.’
Lord Hear My Prayer:
For those that try to do things for others that are bigger than themselves.
Yesterday, we visited the Terry Fox National Monument where Terry Fox’s marathon of Hope ended on September 1st, 1980. He tried to run across Canada on one leg, as the other was a prosthetic, for cancer research. The thing I admire most is that he just did it. Thought about it and trained for a bit and then did it. An ordinary kid that had something bad happen and then moved a nation. In the end, he didn’t end up rich at all, just rich in the hearts of all that know his story. Isn’t that a life worth living and following.
