2018 July 21-Matthew 6:25 ESV
‘”Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ‘
Lord Hear My Prayer:
For all of us that are anxious.
Today, I went up to Paris, Texas for an 80-mile bike ride. I was anxious about a few things like conditioning, pace, distance, heat, and self. After the first 20 miles which I did in a great time at close to an hour, I realized it was going to be a good day. I left a lot of my worries on the road and keep a good peddle, not too aggressive, but not too slow. I thought if only my life were like that all the time, I think I wouldn’t be so anxious about certain things. At the end of the ride, I was obvious thirsty as it was way over 100 degrees by then, but I had completed a successful ride. I can learn a lot from God and the scriptures and myself, if I remain calm, listen, and maintain.
Peace from the DFW Metroplex via Paris, Texas,
It is not winning every attempt / Rather winning in the attempt
