2018 July 18-1 Corinthians 10:24 ESV
‘Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. ‘
Lord Hear My Prayer:
For all of us in need.
Today, I was flying on my mountain bike maybe at about 20 mph on flat ground and then I lost concentration and my tire went in that sweet spot between the concrete and grass as my tires stopped while I flew over the handlebars onto the ground. I lied there for a minute catching my breath hoping all my vitals and extremities were online. Assessing if I had any broken bones when a couple came by picked up my bike and leaned it against a fence while checking up me. At the time, a major failing of mine, I was up and ready to finish the ride. Which I did and beat my best time on ride time alone. But when I look back and as I read this last verse of the day, I am reminded how blessed I am that those people were there just in case I was not as fortunate. I was on the receiving end of their goodness. I hope tomorrow I can pay it forward.
The Lord Will Not Abandon His People.
Peace from the DFW Metroplex,
It is not winning every attempt / Rather winning in the attempt
