2018 MAY 28-Acts 4:11 ESV
‘This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. ‘
Yesterday, we drove Mount Vernon back to DFW. We had a stop over in St. Louis where we visited the Arch and William Clark’s Memorial Monument. We also got to walk a bit of the old Mother Road, Route 66, near the Chain of Rocks bridge.
From there, I realized that my friends, the few true that I have mean more than gold to me.
If the Spirit came from God and passed through all our fathers to ourselves, then I believe we are all related. We may not act like it as a human race. But in smaller scales and hopefully in support of the cornerstone that is Jesus in the way deemed just at His level and not ours, there a bit of Him is in each of us. I choose to reject the human aspect of our siblings, for the Good Spirit that maybe hidden within.
As for my few true friends, I am lucky to have them and I only hope I bring them as much joy as they bring me. Love them as myself.
Prayer for the today
Lord, let the summer bring warmth, not heat.
Thanks be to God from DFW Metroplex via St. Louis and Kansas City,
