2018 MAR 04- Matthew 1:25

but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.  (ESV)

Today, I went to Sunday Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It was wonderful. The readings and the homily were exceptional. All this would not be possible without the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.

The recessional Hymn, There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy, had verses within them that touched my soul. Rich and poor, there’s no divide

2 For the love of God is broader
than the measures of the mind.
And the heart of the Eternal
is most wonderfully kind.
If our love were but more faithful,
we would gladly trust God’s Word,
and our lives reflect thanksgiving
for the goodness of our Lord.

Thanks be to God!

Cheers from the District of Columbia,
Solo Mon
