and patience brings a work to perfection, so that you may be perfect and whole, deficient in nothing.
I’m still taken by the early verses about Trails and Temptations in the general epistle of James.
Today, it speaks about patience makes perfect or is that practicing patience makes perfect so that we may come to terms with one day being whole again. Then and only then, will we understand we were not deficient but only in our wants and desires, but not our needs.
Then again, I could be off base here.
Hope everyone worshiped today.
The worship song I bring on this Sunday is from Big Daddy Weave, Audience of One.
I come on my knees
To lay down before you
Bringing all that I am
Longing only to know you
Seeking your face
And not only your hand
I find you embracing me
Just as I am
Raw and powerful. ‘Just as I am.’ Just as deficient as I am. But seeking only to know your perfection. Patience to Perfection.
